During the digitization of the archival material of the Philatelic and Postal Museum, a rare photographic document came to light, which tells the story of the postal work in 1970 at the Central Post Office of Piraeus. It is a historic building surrounded by Karoli and Demetriou Streets, Admiral Notaras and Filonos Streets and which housed for almost 70 years (1901-1973) the postal, telegraphic and telephone response of Piraeus (telegraphic and telephone services were served in the building until 1949 with the establishment of OTE).
