About the artist
She studied Sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) under the professorship of Ioannis Pappas and Theodoros Papagiannis. She also attended the Applied Painting and Scenography workshops at the ASFA and travelled to Great Britain, where she studied postage stamps and the operating methods of the art departments of the British Post Office. Konstantinea worked with the Hellenic Post for twenty years, where she designed 200 postage stamps, five block stamps and commemorative medals for the 150 anniversary of the founding of the Hellenic Post.

In 1983, she was awarded the European Philatelic Art Prize in Paris for her 25-drachma stamp of Europe (Europa 1983).
